Italian Fine Check

Privacy notice

Last updated: 31 October 2026. This notice is available in English; if you need it in your language, write to [email protected].

Current status: opening soon. We are not taking cases yet. Today we collect only the free verification form (see the first rows of the table); the rest describes the service as it will work when it opens.

In short. We use your documents only to check and handle your fine. We never sell or share your data for marketing, we email you about other services only if you tick the optional box in the form, and we delete your documents 12 months after your case is closed, or earlier if you ask.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Nicola Ghisalberti, who runs the Italian Fine Check service. Contact for anything about your data: [email protected].

Website statistics without cookies

The website sets no cookies and does not store anything on your device for statistics. We count anonymous events (page viewed, check started, type of result, button clicked) with a random code that changes at every visit and is never linked to your name. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies. Anonymous statistics are kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict its use or to object to it, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within one month, usually much sooner. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or to the authority of the country where you live.

Giving us your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot prepare or file your appeal.
