What we do
We verify your fine for free: dates, deadlines and documents.
If it cannot be contested, we tell you why, for free, and stop there.
If it can, we send you a fixed quote. After you accept and pay, we write the appeal in Italian from lawyer-approved templates, with a translation.
After you sign, we file it from Italy by certified email (PEC), send you the receipt and translate every letter about your case for 12 months.
If an appeal we recommended is rejected, we refund our fee and compensate the extra amount and the procedure costs (up to €150 for fines over €500).
What we don't do
We are not lawyers and do not represent you in court.
We cannot promise the result: the Prefetto decides. We only take cases our verification finds contestable.
We do not pay the original fine: it stays yours to pay.
We do not take cases after the 60-day deadline or with licence suspension: for these we refer you to a lawyer.

Prices include VAT. Savings are calculated on the minimum fine set by Italian law in 2026, if the appeal succeeds.

FAQ
Is a Nivi letter a scam?
Nivi is a real collection company used by many Italian municipalities. Its first letter is usually a pre-notice, not the official fine, so you cannot appeal it yet. Fake letters exist: check that the payment details belong to the municipality.
What is the 360-day rule?
If you live outside Italy, the official notice must be mailed within 360 days of the date the violation was recorded (art. 201 of the Italian Highway Code). For camera fines this is usually the day of the violation; with a rental car, or when the owner first had to be identified, the term can start later. What counts is the day the notice was handed to the post office, not the day you received it. If it was mailed later, the obligation to pay ends.
What if the appeal is rejected?
The Prefetto can order you to pay at least twice the minimum fine. That is why we only recommend an appeal when there is a strong reason.
Do I need to travel to Italy?
No. The appeal is written and we file it from Italy for you.
What if my deadline is close?
You have 60 days from the day you received the notice to appeal. If fewer than 10 days are left, we take your case only if you send all documents within 48 hours, so we can file safely in time. If we cannot make it, we tell you at once and you are not charged.
